At Stockbridge High School, our World Languages Department is committed to equipping students with the skills and cultural understanding needed to thrive in an increasingly global society. OUR PROGRAMS
At Stockbridge High School, students are encouraged to broaden their horizons through the study of world languages. Whether you are passionate about global cultures, interested in enhancing your communication skills, or preparing for future academic and career opportunities, there is a place for you in our World Languages Department. French
Students develop foundational reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while exploring the traditions, history, and cultural contributions of French-speaking countries worldwide.
Spanish
Our Spanish courses build strong language proficiency through interactive lessons and cultural exploration. Students engage with authentic materials to better understand the Spanish-speaking world.
Honors Spanish
This advanced course challenges students to deepen their linguistic abilities and cultural knowledge through rigorous instruction, enriched content, and higher-level communication practice.
AP Spanish Language and Culture
Designed for advanced learners, this college-level course emphasizes fluency, critical thinking, and cultural analysis. Students refine their language skills while exploring the diverse perspectives and practices of Spanish-speaking communities.
